When one of our long time clients and flew down to visit family in the AK, they invited us over to celebrate their daughter's first birthday. What an honor! We were so excited to be a part of this special day :) Cheers to a sweet and adorable little girl :) Happy Birthday :)
A big Thank You to the owner of Studio 49 and her girls for giving us such an amazing experience and opportunity.
Paula and I had the privilege of capturing these amazing and talented ladies in their element.. doing what they do best, dance! Now, I'm not sure if you know, but Paula and I have always shared this same dream, other than being photographers.. was to become dancers! Yup, no joke :)
So as these girls, did their thing in front of us, I think I needed help picking my jaw up from the floor...
As we crawled all around the streets in downtown on a brisk 30 degrees, laying in the middle of streets, with tons of equipment to lug around.. we found our rhythm and niche'.
As we grinned from ear to ear with each shot we took.. we knew, this is what our job is all about, being inspired, staying true to our style, and turning our visions into reality.
I would give anything to be able to rock the camera the way these girls did.. but I think that's why I'm behind the camera instead.
