Time Flies..

...when you're having fun & busy.

The end of the school year is always crazy & hectic!  And hang on to your hats, cause summer's are even crazier!  So obviously we have so many sessions to share. (Of course if you are a fan on Facebook, you are already up to date)

Last night we met up with The Skinners.. to see Kylee who is now 6 months! 

Mommies and Soon-To-Be Mommies.. the Belly To Baby Package is the way to go!  We love to capture the beauty of pregnancy and follow up on your new addition.. and follow her throughout her first year!

We love to follow and capture this special moment in your life with a maternity session, newborn session, 6 months, and ONE year.

 

And of course we will capture you as a couple.. all the time :)

Hello There, Blog!

Okay I'm the moron with more than one blog :) LOL! So I'm always trying to catch up on Photography Blog, Personal Blog, Fitness Blog.. oh and Facebook :) Oh the joys of social networking! So I'm back-tracking.. starting with the most recent..

This weekend we headed out to the park and was bombarded with tons of kids standing in a line, all equipped with Easter Baskets or plastic bags, ready for the giant Easter Bunny to say "Go!" Little did we (or they) know.. we scheduled a shoot on the same field. How dare they :)

Luckily.. Egg Hunts only last for 5 maybe even 10 minutes.. right?

Just in time for our FAB clients to arrive :)

 

 

 

Up to date.

I wish I could find the time to updated this blog on a regular basis, to constantly keep up with the new and recent shoots, but as usual I find myself back-tracking to older shoots I haven't shared on here yet. So today, out of all days, just because, I'm gonna start with our session from this weekend. Mainly because it's fresh in my mind.. and it got me smiling the entire time.

Now I don't like to seem repetitive.. but it will, because the same photos will appear on our FB feeds.. but I do have to say this section will have a lot more "journaling".. only because on here I can.

So this weekend, we got a chance to try out our new system, totally "lifted" from our Hero J.Star:

We decided to get the Lightdome (just like her), a light stand, and we have pocketwizards, and our external flash for our outdoor shoots. We have our studio lights, but wanted to keep them at the Studio. And the results.. was a luminous adventure (totally geeky, but yes it was magical).

Alaska's got some beautiful houses, this one was on that list.. and high windows.. so lighting was there just not where I'd want it to be. So after rearranging their home, because we are also interior decorators as well) we found a good spot for lights.

She's a cutie.. both of them!

But nothing beats the outdoors!  Even at 15 degrees, it doesn't stop us :)
Right outside, we do have light.. but at 10 am in November, the sun has not completely risen... (it got brighter by the time we left though) So we did shoot with our lightdome here as well. It just adds a touch of "sunshine".

Now check out this cutie in aciton.. Ice Skating is also a must in this field. (

Twins :) Gorgeous twins, if I may so say myself.. they were so fun to capture!

And this couple.. (brrr) it was cold outside.. but they were True Alaskans! They were so 'hawt' anyway.. enough to keep all of us warm.

 

I came home.. edited these photos in a matter of hours.. It was the kind of session.. that makes you smile and feel like you are doing exactly what you were supposed to be doing.

The Lovely Kents..

Ahh.. we love seeing these guys year after year.
We've been photographing them about this time every year for the past 3 years now.
And it is such a joy to see them grow!!

Caution.. this is more than just a sneak Peek.. Let's just say we overshot that day :) But we LOVE them all! Thanks Kents :) Can't wait till next year :)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kindred Goodness

This family was just a joy to be around and moreso photograph!! They all cooperated the kids all had a good time. (Wish I could say the same of my own). And time flew in this shoot.. laughing and 'oohing and aahhing' over their little one.

Again.. so blessed :)

Family In Town

Family loves to visit AK, wheter they want to brave the cold winter months or enjoy our long summer days.. It's a great time for photos. When Alison called to let us know that her family will be coming into town and will only be here for a little while, I jumped at the chance to photograph her and her family :)
