In the absence of light..
What does a photographer do?
The plan was to shoot right at sunset..
This was the light right at the time we planned to start:
(hubby & Aaron getting brave standing on a frozen lake.. well, we all did)
But we all know..
The plan may not always come into play, and that night... we had some wardrobe malfunctions... the passing minutes turned into the sun setting, till it was completely gone.
Eeep!
I was well equipped with my Photoflex Lightdome.. that we use outdoors a lot for an extra "umph" but never as our only source of light. But we know that alone can't give me the ambient light of.. say the SUN :)
The only light source around was the headlights of all 5 vehicles.
So folks, we present to you... Our Intimate Wedding featuring, car headlights :)

Once my panic level went down 2 notches (it was still up there)... I began to see through the head lights

This shot below.. was taking them further from the light source and bumping up my ISO to it's max, 6400 baby!

This was such a sweet and intimate wedding for a happy couple.. He kept his Scottish tradition a part of the ceremony, so cool :)

Part two of this couple will be taken in daylight... we can't wait :)
